The tour begins in the modern megapolises of Almaty and Bishkek and journeys toward the famous resort town of Cholpon Ata on the northern shore of Issyk Kul Lake which is rated as the world’s second largest mountain lake and the world’s deepest one. Then the road takes you to Karakol town and proceeds to picturesque villages of Tamga , Bokombaevo and Kochkorka by crossing breathtaking gorges, valleys, rivers and giving you the unique opportunity to learn about daily life and traditions of Kyrgyz people.
In Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan your will strictly follow the Great Silk Road tracks and visit its ancient cities and many others outstanding features.

Excursion to the gorges of Anrakhay range to discover Tamgaly petrogliphs dating back from the Bronze age and the most fascinating ones to 15 – 13 cc. B.C.
After the lunch transfer to Bishkek.

Issyk Kul Lake (Cholpon Ata)

Short sightseeing tour in Bishkek.
Transfer to Issyk Kul Lake (280 km).
En route visit Burana tower (11 c. AD) and ancient petroglyphs of Schythians and Hunsungs civilizations (9 -8 cc. BC - 3-4 cc AD) near Cholpan Ata with small Historical & Ethnographical Museum.
Leisure time on the shore of the lake.

En route visit museum and archeological site of Otrar, an important trade town on the intersection of the Great Silk Road, and Arystan Bobo Mausoleum (12th c.) that was an eminent Sufi Saint and the teacher of Khodja Akhmad Yasawi.
